Dress Style: Denim, Soft Cotton, Hand-me Downs. When you go through clothes as quick as Paige does Amvets is your best friend…your style is what you can find, usually good flannel and denim, nothing really instyle unless it’s a “Special” occasion.

Personality: Husk tries to seem very adult and level headed, although internally she struggles with her normal impulsive nature.
Paige is a born teacher and is rather an over achiever when it comes to responsibility. She is used to taking on as much as possible, and doesn’t always realize when she’s actually tackled a problem bigger than she can deal with, until someone points it out to her.

Being one of the older children from her large brood of a family, she can be motherly and worries. Paige is the one of the family to write home the most often, making sure to visit, and send presents to the youngers whenever she can. Though not enough to give them the idea she’s coming home to stay soon, Paige isn’t done wandering.

Self Sufficiency is one the biggest traits Paige can claim, more likely to turn down help than to accept it, even in dire need, unless it’s on behalf of someone she cares for.

History:
Paige is the second child of the Guthrie family in Cumberland, Kentucky. When her brother Sam left home, shortly after developing mutant powers, Paige developed an inferiority complex and became obsessed with the possibility that she could be a mutant. She tested herself to try and discover her mutant powers. At last her temper broke and she begged God to let her find her powers, threatening that she would tear her skin off if she was not a mutant. She made good on her threat and thus discovered that her mutant powers would allow her to produce additional layers of her skin.

She followed Sam in wandering the US soon after, stopping home sometimes and eventually setting out on her own. She became a bit of a tourist in that time, sketching landmarks and people from her travels, especially enjoying fairs and festivals in the summers. She has tried her best to avoid any scuffle with the Cabot family over their powers, but due to a somewhat short temper, and an actual enjoyment of fighting, it doesn’t always work out as planned.

Mutant Powers:

Skills: The ability to shed skin into a different composition, shape or size beneath; experienced in martial arts and with computers and modern technology; Husk is able to heal herself or serious injuries by husking from a damaged form to an intact one.

Extensive study and practice in both traditional boxing and capoeira.

Weaknesses:
Shedding Too Much-When Husk sheds, she leaves everything behind, including her clothes….leaving her naked upon return to her normal form. In great stress or trauma, Husk can shed without control, revealing patchwork forms.
