Personality: Mystique lives up to her name. She is cold, calculating, and boiling with an inner rage. She doesn’t trust anyone, at all, ever, and as such has no loyalty, unafraid to backstab even her closest comrades. She did learn from Magneto after all… Ultimately she WANTS to be altruistic, wants to believe mankind is not as monstrous as she’s witnessed, but she’s too pessimistic to do so.
Likes: Sex and killing (both are more second nature to her than they are true likes), weapons, and a good fight
Dislikes: The X-men, the Brotherhood, and above all… Magneto…

History:
Much of Mystique’s past is unknown… she’s lived many lives, under many different names. She is the mother of two children, ultimately… Graydon Creed, an anti-mutant activist and founder of the Friends of Humanity, and Kurt Wagner, the Amazing Nightcrawler… She gave up Graydon at an early age when he proved to be a normal human, much to her disappointment… she was forced to surrender Kurt when the locals believed her to be a demon…
Abused and met with hostility wherever she went her whole life had made her bitter, forcing her to hide her true nature more often than not, which made her particular mutation much more welcome than anything else in her little world. She grew to despise humanity… so when Erik Lensherr showed up in Germany with a vengeance and a vow to ensure mutants never suffered at the hands of mutants again… she was more than a little smitten.
She joined with Magneto, an unknown quantity to Xavier’s X-Men, and when things went south between the two former friends… she was there, preparing everything that would follow. It was nearly a five decades later when she entered Xavier’s academy, infiltrated Cerebro, and with a serum developed by Magneto, tainted the machine so that when Xavier next used it… it rendered him comatose, allowing the Brotherhood to make their move.
Regrettably they did not take Jean Grey into account. She helped repair the machine, then used it to find Rogue, the girl Magneto had planned to use for his machine. The X-Men arrived to ‘save the day’, and she, with the help of Toad, successfully divided the team… it was Wolverine, however, who defeated her… his senses discovering her treachery, and put his claws through her chest as she was in the X-Man Storm’s form…
She survived her wounds, and Magneto failed his plans, being brought in by the X-Men. Mystique posed first as the late Senator Kelley, gaining access to files and legislation, before she helped Magneto escape. She had learned of a secret base at Alkali Lake where mutants were being bred and used as weapons… The two couldn’t NOT destroy the place. There they found the X-Men, and together worked on rescuing Xavier and destroying Alkali base, Magneto killing the man responsible.
Mystique vanished from sight with the Brotherhood, only to later be found on an MRD transport, imprisoned. With Magneto’s help she escaped, and went on to locate Cain Marko, a believed mutant with powers they could really use. In the process, Mystique was shot with the cure, and rendered powerless. Magneto leaving her, claiming that it was a pity… she was so beautiful…
She was captured, and quickly told them everything that she knew about Magneto… Leading to his own depowerment. She remained behind bars for her crimes… until she her skin began to turn blue again… she smiled, escaping. If her powers returned though, then too, would Magneto’s… Magneto… she had actually loved the man… now though… that officer was right… hell hath no fury.. she’d see him hang for what he did…

Mutant Powers:
Metamorph: can psionically alter the formation of her biological cells at will. As a result she can cause herself to look and sound like an exact duplicate of any human, humanoid, or semi-humanoid being of either sex, wearing virtually any kind of clothing. Her control is so exact that she can precisely duplicate another persons retina pattern in her own eyes, finger, palm and skin-pore patterns on her own hands and skin, and vocal cords to match voices to the point of corresponding voiceprints. While she can make herself look exactly like a person who is physically bigger than herself, she will not weigh as much as the real person does. Although she can maintain the form of a person of her height, weight, and build indefinitely, the longer that she maintains the form of a person physically bigger than herself, the greater the strain she feels.
Enhance Physical Attributes: ability to enhance her strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and senses.
Accelerated Healing: Mystique's nature allows her to repair and regenerate herself from minor to near death injuries in a short span of time, much faster than an ordinary human.
Toxin & Disease Resistance: She is also able to develop resistance and immunities to toxins and diseases.
Retarded Aging: her metamorphic powers have retarded the degenerative effects of her aging process. She has always had this ability even before her enhancement; she is either close to or over one hundred years old.
