Dress Style: The Cuckoos are always classy. Taking a page from their genetic mother's book, they dress fashionably, often setting the newest fashion trends instead of just following them. Phoebe especially ensures that the sisters are always enviably dressed. Since they share a consciousness and each experiences what the others are doing simultaneously, they dress identically to minimize distractions.

Personality: The sisters are very insular. From birth they shared a mind and so feel no need for independence from each other. They are open to outside friendships but it can be difficult for others to get used to the idea that they have no secrets from each other. Since they experience each other's pain they are extremely protective of self, refraining from unnecessary risks.
Mindee is more artsy and perhaps the quietest. She likes to create and can often be found simply observing things to draw, paint, or possibly sculpt.
Celeste is sometimes viewed as a contradiction. She enjoys losing herself in books, particularly fantasy novels, but her second passion is sports. She occasionally tries her hand at writing but has yet to write anything she feels is good enough for others to read.
Phoebe is the most ambitious of the sisters. The second oldest (after the deceased Sophie) she has stepped up as the most outgoing and dominate. She is the leader and pushes her sisters to always excel.

History:
The five Cuckoo sisters are the genetic daughters of Emma Frost. It is unknown how the ova cells were obtained from the White Queen but without a doubt it was without her permission. James & Elizabeth Cuckoo were rich socialites with everything they wanted. Except one thing, they desired a daughter and Elizabeth could not get pregnant. For years they tried various fertility drugs, in vitro fertilization, but nothing worked. Eventually, they discovered an exclusive agency that guaranteed a successful pregnancy.

The sisters were born with their telepathic powers, a fact they used often and to their advantage. Having the ability to read minds and implant suggestions, they were able to wrap their parents around their tiny little fingers with ease. Growing up they continued to use their unique abilities whenever the need or desire arose. When the sisters were 15, Quentin, a telepathic boy who had a crush on Sophie incited a riot at school to get her attention. Unfortunately, it worked. Sophie took the lead in the hive mind to calm the riot and subdue Quentin. She ended up overexerting her powers and died.

Though the sisters dearly missed Sophie they found that there was no decrease in their overall ability, in fact, each sister seemed to be marginally more powerful since her death. A year later, Esme got involved with a bad boy. She left her sisters and moved in with him. He was able to shield his thoughts from the sisters and though the remaining three repeatedly tried to warn her away from someone they couldn't read, she refused to listen. After a few months of living together, Esme got a peek at his true thoughts. She was nothing more than a means to an end. He planned to use her powers and through her, her sisters' powers, to psychically take over the President. In a rage she attacked him, not telepathically but physically. He easily overpowered her and in the resulting struggle snapped her neck.

Having gone from 5 to 3, the Cuckoo sisters were terrified of losing each other. They made a pact not to get involved with a boy unless all three agreed he was a good choice. Finally, they reached out to Charles Xavier, someone who had been touching their thoughts occasionally since their birth. They explained that they were ready to join his school now and would arrive in two weeks time.

Mutant Powers:
Telepathy: The sisters have a hive mind. They are able to communicate psychically with each other and in fact do so instinctively. All three are strong telepaths but put together are even more powerful. They can read minds, project thoughts, speak to others mentally, astrally project, alter memories, shoot psionic blasts, and use all other telepathic abilities. They can also cloak their own mind and the minds of others to hide them from other telepaths or machines like Cerebro.

Diamond Form: They can turn into living diamond, just like Emma Frost. In this form they possess super strength and durability. They cannot use their telepathy while in this form, but they cannot be attacked mentally in this form either. Unlike Emma, their diamond forms are perfect and contain no flaws. They can potentially stay living diamonds indefinitely, having no need for food or water.

Skills:
Mindee can play the piano, paint & draw, she has some talent with clay sculpture as well.
Phoebe has a head for business and already manages a clothes line marketed by the triplets.

Weaknesses: Dependence: What hurts one sister simultaneously hurts the others. They survived the deaths of Esme & Sophie by severing their psychic link, but doing so severely hurt the remaining three sisters, and it is unclear whether they would survive the process again.
