Having grown up out west in the more temperate state of California, Chloe is someone who enjoys wearing dresses whenever she can. She finds her legs being one of her better assets and also has a potentially unhealthy collection of sandals and flats. Unfortunately, NY isn't really the best for sandals all year round and she's had to change her more free spirited hippy inspired looks for bundled up jeans, boots and jackets. She hasn't full adjusted to the change, so whenever she can she's back in her dresses with lighter jackets and cardigans. She prefers wearing brighter colors; red, pinks and yellows being some of her favorites. Make up is also a must, and its a vary rare day in deed to see her without it. That and sweat pants. She will not leave her house in them except to go and work out.
Personality:
The move has definitely not been best for Chloe. Although she's only enough to be out of the house and on her own, her parents spoiled her rotten. They didn't hand her everything on a silver platter, but they definitely didn't make it all that hard. Besides, she wanted to go into the same field as her father so had pictured herself attending the same university he was teaching at... and that had been back home, in California. Well, it had been. Now, the only bubbly girl would much rather just go and sit in their small greenhouse, finding that being around plants is calming to her. That and her dog never hurt, who thankfully had been allowed to come with them to the small town house that they were renting.
Overall, she's an intelligent good if not a bit naive. She expects people to put her whims first, and struggles with doing that for others. This isn't to say she's an outright mean or malicious person; she's just learning and the fact she's had her entire world pulled out from under her. She's overall a warm person... just a bit shallow and cell centered.

Born in Gualala, California. Chloe had known nothing besides the sandy beaches and the trickling river that ran through her picturesque sleepy town located on California's Northern Coast. Her parents were both, unsurprisingly, botanists who had been drawn to the greener pastures provided by the area and also long standing family ties. Her father's family was known to be one of the founding ones, which has an appeal in and of itself as well as many perks. Needless to say, Chloe's inability to be terribly independent and also her more self centered attitude cannot be entirely blamed on her parents.
Despite wanting a larger family, Chloe's mother was only able to conceive once due to a weird deformity of her uterus. That was fine in the end, the two doting all over their little girl who didn't have a care in the world. Her grandparents both passed away while she was in high-school, but thanks to the rather low key and slower pace of the town she was adopted by many of the older residents who all became "Grandma" or Grandpa" followed by their name. It was this atmosphere that somehow managed to nurture a girl who, despite being spoiled, didn't manage to become overtly nasty. No idea how that worked.
In school, she was willing to work hard for her grades and also played several sports. She loved being outside, and she was about fourteen when the outdoors seemed to love her back. Flowers would bloom prematurely in her presence, a fact that fascinated her parents. Soon, they began conducting experiments with her, although managed not to loose sight of the fact she still was her child thankfully. Chloe didn't exactly let them do it either by running her mouth as her high-school years passed by and her powers started to become slightly less manageable for her parents. Her anger caused her to produce pheromones that caused others to flee and needless to say that didn't work out terribly. It actually meant that her first semester of her senior year was spent home-schooled and for someone who was a social butterfly, it didn't end well and gave her a slight mean streak.
As 'punishment', Chloe had her world turned upside down as her father decided that it was time they moved from their sleepy town. He transplanted them to New York, partially because he had friends who could potentially help with his daughters lack of control. So far, Chloe has withdrawn from her family and spends most of her days out in their tiny greenhouse, sitting on a bench with some of her favorite flowers.

Chloe has the ability to manipulate all forms of plant life; whether it to be to animate it, create it or kill it. She must be able to see the plant in order to do so, or at least know the location of where it is. Causing something to grow when looking at it via a camera is far more difficult than seeing a rose bush before her and causing it to bloom. Many plants are able to produce toxins or poisons that are harmful to other living organisms; like them, Chloe has the ability to produce toxins/poisons from her pores or saliva, however this is currently an unknown and unrefined power that shall develop later as her control and strength grows. Like many plants, she can also produce and manipulate pheromones that have various effects; although typically she subconsciously does this when nervous, creating pheromones that will make someone fearful of her instead. All her powers though rely heavily on her accelerated metabolism, especially her self healing.
Skills:
Chloe has had no prior training in any form of hand to hand combat, although can wield a rifle surprisingly enough with a relative ease.
Weaknesses:
-Doesn't do well when kept inside for long periods, and without direct sunlight all her powers are weakened.
-Can also be effected by many chemicals that are generally harmful to plants, and ironically has irritable lungs which makes the city hard to live in
-Doesn't do well on her own, and generally is a bit.... well, she's not terribly independent and definitely isn't suited for the city, lacking street smarts that many who've been here for long term have,
