Homesickness....even the thought of the word left a nasty taste in Paige's mouth. She'd laid that feeling to bed quite some time ago, tucked in it with her joy of travel, and shut its door.
So now, here of all places, was it rearing its ugly head again? The blonde pulled the old brush through her hair one last time, giving it a slightly more violent toss than she meant to towards her pack, hitting her door with a resounding THUMP instead.
"Its Jay's fault..." Paige grumped to herself quietly, looking out the window towards the surrounding trees and the pond. She needed to get out of here for a while, barefoot and alone, like back on the farm. Time to slip out before anyone else woke up. Hopefully.
